TTC Will Spotlight Mobile and High-Speed Digital Loop Analysis at SuperComm '98 ADSL and Residential Local Loop Solutions Complement Full Line of Industry Leading Testers at Booth 5839 In Atlanta.

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 1998--TTC today announced the SuperComm `98 debut of digital loop testers that address residential local loop applications including ADSL service deployments, high-speed Internet access and improved service quality for POTS and ISDN. Highlights at TTC booth 5839 include:

ADSL AND RESIDENTIAL LOCAL LOOP ANALYSIS: TTC will introduce its newest offering, the T-BERD 1000 ADSL Analyzer, at SuperComm `98.

This easy-to-use instrument enables service providers to facilitate the installation and maintenance of ADSL service via true physical-layer ADSL testing with ATU-R emulation.

The T-BERD 1000 is a portable, lightweight device that offers numerous service qualification and troubleshooting features operated via the instrument's LCD touch screen. Also at SuperComm, TTC will feature its first product designed specifically for the residential local loop market.

The PC-based T-BERD 109XC Subscriber Loop Analyzer, announced last month, affords integrated POTS, ISDN and TDR (time domain reflectometer) testing in a mobile computer that is easy to use, icon-driven, lightweight and rugged.

ISDN AND FRAME RELAY TESTING: For primary rate (PRI) ISDN testing, look for the handheld T-BERD 2209 Communications Analyzer with newly announced ISDN PRI capability. The T-BERD 2209 also will feature the new VT100 terminal emulation option.

This feature facilitates the provisioning and monitoring of HDSL and other network elements. The VT100 option will be demonstrated live at TTC's booth and at Teltrend booth 8339. Frame relay and ISDN capability will be exhibited with the T-BERD 950 Communications Analyzer.

For high-speed frame relay, TTC will feature the FIREBERD 6000 with HSSI and transmission impairment analysis and the FIREBERD 500 with HSSI/DS3. For more information about HSSI/DS3 for the FIREBERD 500, also visit Larscom at booth 5447.

CENTRALIZED TEST SYSTEMS, SOFTWARE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: TTC will exhibit NetAnalyst client/server test management software and the CENTEST 650 centralized test system. Inside the booth, look for cutting-edge software for network capacity management and planning. Rounding out TTC's solutions set is the professional services station displaying TTC's public training programs, customized product enhancement and network consulting.

HIGH-SPEED LAN, WAN AND ATM ANALYSIS: TTC recently announced the availability of 10/100 Mb Ethernet LAN, HSSI/DS3 WAN and ATM options for the FIREBERD 500 Internetwork Analyzer. Collectively known as the FIREBERD LAN/WAN/ATM Analyzer, this high-speed solution represents the state of the art in high-performance, flexible and price-conscious protocol analysis.
