TTC Adds ISDN PRI Analysis and VT100 to T-BERD 2209 Communications Analyzer -- Single Tester Solution Now Available for Physical Layer and ISDN Service Turn-Up.

GERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 29, 1998--TTC Friday announced the availability of optional primary rate (PRI) ISDN analysis to the T-BERD 2209 Communications Analyzer.

With ISDN PRI, the T-BERD 2209 allows field technicians to employ a single tester for both the physical layer and ISDN service turn-up.

With optional VT100 terminal emulation, the T-BERD 2209 can monitor and provision HDSL and other network elements without an additional mobile unit or PC.

The T-BERD 2209 is the latest addition to the TTC 2000 family of test instruments characterized by lightweight, touch-screen convenience when testing wireless or landline networks. Furnished with dual receivers, the T-BERD 2209 is the only transmission test set of its kind.

It enables extensive testing of the physical layer, and executes signal and timing tests to ensure proper performance of DS1/DS3 network connections.

TTC's T-BERD 2209 will be demonstrated live at SuperComm in Atlanta, June 9 - 11, at TTC booth 5839. VT100 terminal emulation also will be demonstrated live at Teltrend booth 8339.
