TSI Telecommunication Services Inc. (TSI) (http://www.tsiconnections.com), a global communications technology company, announced today it has formed an alliance with NeuStar, Inc. to utilize its LSRexpress(SM) clearinghouse service to process local service requests (LSR) for wireline-to-wireless number portability. NeuStar provides mission-critical numbering administration services to the telecommunications industry, including the operation of the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC).

Previously, TSI had successfully launched wireless number portability service order activation/inter-carrier communication (SOA/ICC) service bureau and clearinghouse solutions with Telcordia Technologies Inc. Forming this alliance with NeuStar provides TSI the added capability for wireline-to-wireless porting for its wireless customers. The combined strength of TSI, Telcordia and NeuStar is anticipated to serve nearly 92 percent of the market for wireless number portability in North America.
