CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band. , TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) A satellite and cellular phone technology that interleaves multiple digital signals onto a single high-speed channel. For cellular, TDMA triples the capacity of the original analog method (FDMA).  and AMPS operators commonly use the TIA/EIA ANSI-41 signaling protocol globally. TSI's signaling solution is an ANSI-41 call processor that provides interoperability among the various revisions of the TIA/EIA ANSI-41 signaling family and seamless translation of international roaming protocols. The TSI signaling solution will enable AT&T Wireless Services to use one signaling point A node in an SS7 network. See SS7 and point code.  code instead of directly routing to hundreds of switches and networks around the world. This will allow network elements in one country to route messages to other countries without the need for indirect routing in the home or serving market.
