Those tasks included reliability and maintainability improvements to systems ranging from the F-15E Strike Eagle

Like phase one, phase two of the Design Engineering Program is a delivery-order contract aimed at improving the reliability and maintainability of components, subsystems, and systems of four Federal Supply Groups -- FSG See Linux Foundation.  12, Fire Control Equipment; FSG 58, Communication, Detection, and Coherent Radiation; FSG 66, Instruments and Laboratory Equipment; and FSG 70, General Purpose Automatic Data Processing Equipment Automatic data processing equipment, legally defined, is any equipment or interconnected system or subsystems of equipment that is used in the

"In this phase, we will focus on reliability and maintainability improvements to electronics, software, and mechanical systems through engineering analyses, designs, developments, prototyping and testing," said Rick Rider, TRW program manager.

"These improvements are critical to ensure that the U.S. Air Force inventory remains effective in this era of declining military budgets when few new aircraft or other system programs are underway," he noted.

The work will be performed at TRW's Air Force support systems facilities in Sacramento, Calif., Dayton, Ohio, Warner Robins, Ga., Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and Oklahoma City, as well as at other key TRW locations, including San Diego.
