Bynum, the Democratic candidate for the state Assembly seat representing the Antelope Valley, said he was grateful. ``I feel very humbled that the work I have been doing as a Democrat has been recognized and honored. I'm very appreciative and look forward to continuing to serve my community and my party,'' he stated. McClintock was also grateful. ``I was born a Democrat. I love my party and believe in Democrats and what we stand for. I feel the Democratic Party shares my commitment to the issues I'm passionate about. I'm honored to have received this award, and I will continue to serve the Democratic Party, its candidates, and promote the values we hold dear,'' she said.
