Donald J. Trump broke off talks aimed at converting his Trump's Castle Casino Resort into a Hard Rock casino hotel.

The search for a new theme for his least-profitable casino goes on.

``We don't like the castle theme, we never liked the castle theme,'' Trump said Monday, adding that he expects to reveal a new strategy shortly.

Trump has been searching for a way to boost the casino's flagging fortunes all year. In June, he told a gambling industry conference he would spend $75 million to build and dock a 430-foot yacht with 30,000 square feet of casino space.

The idea apparently did not float, though. In October, he said he was in talks with Rank Organization, the London-based parent of Hard Rock Cafe Hard Rock Cafe is a chain of casual dining restaurants. It was founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton, and their first Hard Rock Cafe opened near Hyde Park Corner in London, in a former Rolls Royce car dealerships showroom close to Hyde Park, where in 1979 they began to , to re-theme the 728-room marina district property.

At the time, Trump said he was seeking $325 million in the deal.

Last month, he scheduled a news conference in New York New York, state, United States
