TRUMP HOTELS AND CASINO RESORTS ISSUES ANNOUNCEMENT

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts today announced that a non-binding determination has been made by the Gary, Ind., Mayor's Steering Committee on Gaming, naming it as one of the companies deemed most qualified to develop and operate one of three riverboat casinos and adjacent land-based hotel and entertainment complexes.
Trump Marina Resort is in the process of filing its application for a gaming license with the Indiana Gaming Commission which has the exclusive authority, under its regulations, to determine the licenses to be granted in Indiana.
Donald Trump stated that the Trump Marina Resort "will pursue an application for licensing with the Indiana Gaming Commission in the most expeditious manner and is confident of a favorable response."
Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts has proposed a $114 million upscale entertainment and casino facility. The cornerstone of the project is the Trump Princess, a modern 340-foot mega-yacht containing approximately 46,000 square feet of casino gaming space, which can accommodate 3,000 passengers. The complex is designed to attract a steady flow of visitors throughout the year and will feature a 300-room hotel, 1,300-slip marina and substantial parking.
