TRSG Corp. Announces Congressmen Requesting Anthrax Testing at CDC.

TRSG Corp. (OTC BB: TSGO) Thursday announced that members of the United States Congress have offered the company's hand-held scanner for biological agents to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) for testing of the devices.

The company has retained the services of Advantage Associates of Washington, D.C., which enlisted the aid of lawmakers to get the testing done. Former U.S. Congressman Bill Sarpalius is president of Advantage, which is composed of 12 former members of Congress.

Sarpalius said he took the devices to members of Congress who readily agreed to help determine to what extent anthrax bacteria and spores could be detected. The V-Scan detects the presence of a range of biological agents.

"Capital Hill has been especially hard hit by the anthrax terrorism, but before we provide every House and Senate Office with a complimentary virus scanner, we felt it prudent that the CDC provide a reliable judgment on its effectiveness," Sarpalius said. He said, that members of Congress agreed that testing using CDC methodology would provide a comfort level.

Part of the problem the distributor has faced is not having access to anthrax for testing. There has been ongoing research of the product to verify its effectiveness in identifying the presence of a wide variety of biological agents. The V-Scan utilizes UV-A waves or waves in the 320 to 380 nm range, commonly referred to as black light or wood's light.

The product is for detection purposes only and is not intended as a treatment or cure. The U.S. Capital complex has had several buildings closed in recent weeks as anthrax has been detected. A lingering question about the safety of the mail has been a complication and cause of concern for lawmaker offices. Currently, there is no readily available device in Capitol offices that can provide an indication of the presence of bacteria.

Testing for the agent has meant shutting down much of the activities of Congress. Only repeated testing could determine any subsequent influx in an already-tested area.

Because the V-Scan is small and inexpensive it can be used in every area simply by exposing a darkened surface to the light. The device is priced below $50 per unit. Sarpalius said it could be the inexpensive and available answer for all Americans that are fearful of bio-terrorism.
