TROY Introduces Software to Help Financial Institutions Comply with New Canadian Payment Association Standards.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- TROY Group Inc. (OTC:TROY), a worldwide provider of Secure Payment Solutions, announced the introduction of TROY Checkwriting Software - Teller Edition in a Canadian Payments Association (CPA) Standard 006-compliant format. TROY Checkwriting Software - Teller Edition enables financial institutions to print secure personalized cheques during the first point of customer contact, allowing superior customer service.

By utilizing TROY Checkwriting Software - Teller Edition, financial institutions eliminate the need for long wait times and mail delivery of personalized cheques. Front-line employees also have the ability to print business cheques, money orders, deposit slips, and official cheques. TROY Checkwriting Software supersedes TROY's ChequeScribe product line, which has been continuously developing since its first release in 1999.

TROY is offering upgrades for previously deployed ChequeScribe products to enable the new CPA-compliant features.

The Canadian Payments Association, in CPA Standard 006, Part A, outlined the requirements necessary to ensure high-quality cheque images which can be captured to enhance electronic processing efficiency through clearing purposes and delivery to clients. All cheques presented to the Canadian banking processing centers on Dec. 31, 2006, must be compliant with the new standards.
