TRI-STAR COMPUTER Introduces StarServers For NT Networks, Web Hosts and Intranets.TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1997--TRI-STAR COMPUTER today introduced two StarServer configurations for NT networks, web hosts and Intranets in response to strong customer demand. "For several years we've been building servers based on specifications from existing customers," said TRI-STAR President Robert Powers. "The response has been so positive and the requests so frequent that we decided to introduce two server models to the market to further serve the needs of all our customers." The base StarServer configuration is $4,595 and includes dual 200MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc. Pentium Pro The sixth generation of the Intel x86 family of CPU chips.
