More than 300,000 Americans have multiple sclerosis. In most cases, the disease strikes people between 20 and 40 years old.

A person with the disease may have trouble with such things as walking, talking or seeing.

``It made me feel really good to know I helped someone,'' said Sasha, 12.

Kelly, also 12, agreed:

``It was for a good cause, so I did it.''
