TREE SPOTTING TOUR SHOWS OFF FOUR HOMES' HOLIDAY DECOR.

Byline: Daily News

VALENCIA - Four of Santa Clarita's most beautiful homes, exquisitely decorated for the holiday season, will be featured Dec. 6 in Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's 23rd annual Holiday Home Tour and Boutique.

This year's annual Holiday Home Tour's theme is ``An American Holiday.'' The Holiday Home Tour is a venue for displaying the talents of local designers and for offering the public a peek inside some custom homes in the Santa Clarita Valley.

This year's tour runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature the Sand Canyon homes of Aaron and Rebecca Norris and William and Tracy Gage. The Norris home will be decorated by Rebecca, owner of Shady and Katie in Canyon Country, with the theme ``Gift of the Magi.''

``Nature's Celebration'' is the theme of the Gage home, which will be decorated by Claire Cullen, the owner of Claire's Flowers.

Also included in the tour is the Circle J Ranch home of Patrick and Toni Navas, decorated by Cynthia Piana and Lori Souza of Piana Designs with the theme ``White Christmas.''

The tour's preview gala, a black-tie event, is scheduled for Dec. 5. The preview offers a first look at the homes, as well as an elegant dinner after the tour. Tickets for the gala, which are $150 per person, are limited.

The Holiday Arts and Crafts Boutique and Pantry will offer holiday items from many vendors, in addition to homemade goodies prepared by Home Tour League members.

The boutique and pantry will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Newhall.

Tickets for the tour are $20. Children under 12 will not be admitted and strollers, cameras and backpacks will not be permitted in the homes. Guests are asked to wear flat shoes. Because they are private residences, the homes are not wheelchair accessible.

For information or tickets, contact the hospital foundation at (661) 253-8082.
