Copper Canyon Lodges offers overnight treks combined with wilderness lodging in Mexico's High Sierras and Batopilas this spring. The first trip begins April 20, with six consecutive weeklong trips planned. Trips are limited to eight people.

Nine- and 12-day itineraries include eight or 11 nights' lodgings, van transfer from Chihuahua to Sierra Lodge near Creel, meals at the lodges, guides, burros and cook for two nights in the canyons. Midwest flights: Southwest Airlines is offering a one-way fare of $99 available for travel between 10 selected Midwest cities and Burbank, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland and other West Coast destinations. Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday for travel through June 4. Tickets must be purchased at least seven days before departure. Sail on: Couples who book a nine-night cruise on the 172-passenger Song of Flower, departing Athens for Rome on May 7, can save up to $3,000 if they book the cruise by March 1. Romance month: Sixteen Hyatt hotels in California offer special "romance rates" through February that range from $75 to $250 weekends and $90 to $250 weekdays.

Polynesian cruise: Windstar Cruises offers a cruise/air package to French Polynesia with a 44 percent savings with Saturday departures through Sept. 28. Cruise savings: Holland America Line offers a 25 percent discount on the cost of Alaskan cruises booked by Feb. 23; the discount drops to 15 percent after that date.
