The Antelope Valley Transit Authority's eighth annual ``Stuff-A-Bus'' charity drive kicked off Friday, and this year organizers say they are pulling out all the stops.

The donations will be distributed by charities including the Children's Center of the Antelope Valley, Antelope Valley Domestic Violence Shelter, Grace Resource Center, Healthy Homes at Antelope Valley Hospital, Salvation Army, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services emergency services Emergency care '…services …necessary to prevent death or serious impairment of health and, because of the danger to life or health, require the use of the most accessible hospital available and equipped to furnish those services' and United Community Action Network.
Volunteers will come from the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster West Rotary, Optimist Club of Palmdale, Paraclete High School Paraclete High School is a Catholic High School in Lancaster, CA operated independently of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. 186 seniors graduated in the 2006-2007 school year. and Zonta.
New unwrapped toys, new clothing items, and nonperishable food items can be dropped off at any of the locations.
The bus will be located:
Saturdays through Dec. 16 at Toys 'R' Us, 1335 W. Ave. K in Lancaster, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sundays through Dec. 17 at Antelope Valley Mall The Antelope Valley Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Palmdale, California.
