The Field, covering some 7,400 acres, commenced production in 1967, reached a maximum production rate of 1,300 bopd in 1975 and currently produces some 400 bopd with associated gas from 10 wells. TDE will review and analyze all the technical data from the Field over the next three months and, if it determines that there is potential to substantially increase production using modern drilling and completion techniques, it hopes to reach a production sharing agreement with Ukranafta later this year.
