 TRACOR TO ESTABLISH INTERNATIONAL CONSORTIUM FOR COUNTERMEASURES
 AUSTIN, Texas, July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Tracor Aerospace, Inc. today announced that it and Chemring, Ltd. and NobelTech Electronics AB have agreed to work toward the establishment of an international consortium to manufacture and market BOL chaff dispenser systems and associated chaff to customers in the United States and selected international markets.
 Tracor Aerospace, a subsidiary of Tracor, Inc., is a leader in the development and production of advanced countermeasures systems and expendables used on board aircraft, ships, tanks, and missiles to counter weapons threats.
 The BOL dispenser was developed by NobelTech of Sweden and is used by several European air forces. The dispenser carries chaff packs designed by Chemring of the United Kingdom.
 James B. Skaggs, Tracor president, said, "The international cooperation by this group of three world leaders in countermeasures technology will represent a significant advantage to all members."
 George R. Melton, Tracor Aerospace president, said, "The addition of the innovative BOL dispenser to Tracor's family of countermeasures dispenser systems will significantly increase the quantity of expendable payloads which can be carried on tactical aircraft for self-protection.

 Tracor provides a broad range of technological products, systems, and services for diverse government and commercial markets. In addition, to advanced countermeasures and defense electronics systems, the company is a significant engineering and support contractor in communications and sonar and a major source for comprehensive flight testing, training, and aircraft modification services.
