To improve the strength, resiliency, and freedom from stickiness and odor of (rubber, for example) by combining with sulfur or other additives in the presence of heat
HyTemp polyacrylate rubber, which confers high heat and chemical resistance. The new Zeotherm TPVs are based on compounding technology licensed exclusively by Zeon from TPV supplier Advanced Elastomer Systems, L.P. (AES) of Akron, Ohio.

Prototype Zeotherm TPVs reportedly show excellent retention of physical properties at 150 C after 1500 hr of continuous exposure to automotive oils transmission fluids, and greases, while maintaining a low hardness range of 70 to 90 Shore A. Zeotherm can be processed by extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding. Applications include automotive shaft and bearing seals, transmission seal components, CVJ CVJ Constant Velocity Joint
