TPL protects Ohio parkland.

) announced recently that it will conserve Beaty's Landing, a 55-acre park along the bank of the Grand River in Painesville, Ohio Painesville is a city in Lake County, Ohio, United States, along the Grand River. Its population was 17,503 as of the 2000 Census. It is the county seat of Lake CountyGR6 and the home of Lake Erie College and Morley Library. . The site had been listed for sale in an area of increasing housing development. Lake Metroparks, Lake County's park authority, requested help from TPL in order to conserve the park.

TPL says that protection of this site is important because of its ecological ecological

emanating from or pertaining to ecology.
