TOYOTA MOTOR SALES ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES

 TORRANCE, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Several key senior management changes at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS) were announced today by Yale Gieszl, executive vice president.
 Al Wagner, formerly group vice president of the Toyota Division, was appointed group vice president of dealer relations for both the Toyota and Lexus Divisions. He is succeeded by J. Davis Illingworth, formerly group vice president of the Lexus Division. Illingworth is succeeded by newly promoted Group Vice President George Borst, formerly vice president of strategic and product planning. Also promoted from vice president to group vice president with no change in duties were Richard Gallio, head of parts and service operations, and Jim Olson, head of external affairs.
 "These changes will strengthen our capabilities," said Gieszl, "enabling us to deal with the growing size and complexity of Toyota's U.S. business while maintaining the high customer satisfaction for which Toyota and Lexus are known."
 Gieszl added that these changes are effective Jan. 16 and that other moves will be announced shortly.
