TOWN STUNT MEN TO BE HONORED MONTANA, LEONARD TO GET STARS IN WALK.

AGUA DULCE Agua Dulce is Spanish for "sweet water". It also refers to various locations:

 - Agua Dulce's 34th annual fair will start a new tradition by inducting legendary stunt man Terry Leonard and the late trick-roper Montie Montana into an Agua Dulce Walk of Fame.

Stars bearing their names will be embedded in the walkway on the east side of the Agua Dulce town center during the Oct. 2 fair, of which Leonard will be grand marshal Grand Marshal is a ceremonial, military, or political office of very high rank. The term has its origins with the word "Marshal" with the first usage of the term "Grand Marshal" as a ceremonial title for certain religious orders. . Montana's honors will be accepted by his son.

Specially designed belt buckles will be presented at a celebration, followed by lunch.

Leonard, a movie second-unit action director as well as a stunt man who has lived in Agua Dulce for 21 years, has worked on John Wayne-Howard Hawks Westerns, modern-era Westerns such as ``Tombstone'' and ``The Quick and the Dead,'' and on action films ranging from ``Die Hard With a Vengeance'' to ``Raiders of the Lost Ark'' and ``The Fugitive.''

Leonard, who was elected into the Motion Picture Stuntmen's Hall of Fame, was recently awarded the World Stunt Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to him by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger (German pronunciation (IPA): [ˈaɐ̯nɔlt ˈaloɪ̯s ˈʃvaɐ̯ʦənˌʔɛɡɐ] .

``I'm proud and honored to be chosen as an honoree for Agua Dulce's Walk of Fame,'' Leonard said in an announcement by the fair committee. ``Agua Dulce has been home to me for many years, and is home to others whose names I hope to see included next to mine as the years go by.''

The celebration is open to fellow stunt and entertainment industry professionals and to fair attendees.

Tickets for the celebration and luncheon will be on sale for $45 beginning this month. The celebration will be held at noon at the Agua Dulce Women's Club Women’s clubs first arose in the United States during the post-civil war period.
