Travelers can take either of the shorter trips or both for a full 26-day jaunt. Land cost for the 26-day tour is $3,900 per person, with no additional charge for single travelers, and includes lodgings, meals and transportation in China (including air fare from Yunnan to Tibet), an ElderTreks escort and local guides. Cost of the 15-day Yunnan tour is $2,150, and the Tibet-only trip costs $1,895. Easter jaunt: KD River Cruises of Europe offers a five-day Easter cruise on the Rhine and Moselle rivers aboard the 184-passenger Brittania. The cruise leaves Dusseldorf April 4, arrives in Cologne on Good Friday Good Friday, anniversary of Jesus' death on the cross. According to the Gospels, Jesus was put to death on the Friday before Easter Day. Since the early church Good Friday has been observed by fasting and penance.  and ends in Frankfurt on April 8, the day after Easter.
