Integrating its core technology strength, the Pocket PC e570 marks the debut of Toshiba's revolutionary Advanced Lithium-ion power technology, a micro-thin lightweight battery delivering up to eight hours of battery life for the user. Weighing less than one-half pound and providing an ample power supply, Pocket PC e570 customers can now enjoy portable multimedia all in the palm of their hand - anytime, anywhere.

The Toshiba Pocket PC e570 comes pre-installed with Microsoft Corp.'s new Pocket PC 2002 operating system, featuring a host of applications ideal for the enterprise user such as Virtual Private Network client access to protect sensitive data and e-mail communication through remote access. Additionally, mobile professionals can utilize Terminal Services Client to remotely access business applications on its company's server. Productivity applications include Microsoft Pocket Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger and Microsoft Reader 2.0. To meet the needs of the enterprise user, the Toshiba Pocket PC e570 can also be customized with pre-loaded factory applications.

Powering the Toshiba Pocket PC e570 is the Intel(R) StrongARM processor. At 206MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock.
