TOSHIBA AMERICA CP INTRODUCES 21-INCH MONITOR
WITH NEW CIRCUITRY FOR IMPROVED FOCUS
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Toshiba America CP, Inc., innovator of Flat Square technology, today announced the addition of a new 21-inch Flat Square color monitor that incorporates a dual arabolic Voltage Circuitry (PbVC) for enhanced focus, pushing the technology advantage even further on its largest FS monitor.
The new P21CR00 monitor features a modified board with unique circuitry, PbVC, that minimizes beam dispersion and produces improved dynamic focus across the entire image. Priced at $3,499, it replaces the P21CMOO model and is available through distributors now.
"The Flat Square CRT already minimizes beam dispersion, glare and reflections, and virtually eliminates the visual pattern distortion often found with curved-screen technology," said John Keenan, sales & marketing manager. "Now with the addition of Parabolic Voltage Circuitry, users will experience even sharper images, especially in corners. And they can get it at the same cost effective price as the previous model."
The new 21-inch Flat Square color monitor features a .31 mm dot pitch, offers a resolution of 1,280 by 1,024 pixels and supports VGA, 8514/A and Macintosh II systems.
The auto-scanning monitor supports horizontal scanning frequencies of 30KHz to 65KHz and vertical scanning frequencies of 50HZ to 90HZ. In addition, the monitor features a Dynamic Astigmatism Control (DAC) focus system that corrects corner screen legibility.
 The P21CR00 also includes:
-- Automatic mode selection of four preset modes.
 -- Invar shadow mask.
-- RGB analog input and sync on green/composite/separate.
-- Compact cabinet design with tilt/swivel base, and
 -- Front/side mounted controls.
