TORONTO'S MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL DOUBLES 3 YEAR TARGET.

The Blueprint Initiative, led by Dr. Christopher Dr. John R. Christopher, known popularly as "Dr. Christopher" was one of very few nationally prominent doctors of herbal medicine of the middle third of the 20th century, a "dark ages" of herbalism and was responsible for the herbal renaissance of the 1960s.  Hogue of the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute The Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute of Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto), Ontario, Canada was established in 1985 by an endowment from the Lunenfeld and Kunin families. It comprises 31 principal investigators, has a budget of C$90 million (2005/6), has 225 trainees and over 550  of Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital Mount Sinai Hospital can refer to:

, has more than doubled its projected 3-year target for submissions to the Biomolecular Interaction Network Database (BIND), surpassing 170,000 records.

"When we first set a goal of 80,000 records, I was confident that we could accomplish and even surpass it," said Dr. Hogue, "but I never would have imagined 170,000 records. It's a tribute to the value our colleagues and contributors are finding in the project, and recognition of the incredible work of our team."

Blueprint assembles and curates known interactions between biological molecules and enters this data into BIND, a repository of biological data ranging from molecular interactions and small-molecule chemical reactions to interfaces from three-dimensional structures, pathways and genetics interaction networks.

In April 2002, Blueprint set out to enter 80,000 interactions into BIND with Genome Canada's CDN (Content Delivery Network) A system of distributed content on a large intranet or the public Internet in which copies of content are replicated and cached throughout the network.  $12.5 million investment over three years. By April 8, 2005, Blueprint has delivered more than 173,000 interactions.
