 TORO FORMS PARTNERSHIP WITH RYOBI OUTDOOR PRODUCTS INC.
 Companies to Jointly Develop Hand-held Outdoor Appliances
 BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Toro Company (NYSE: TTC) and Ryobi Outdoor Products Inc. a leader in electrical products and small hand-held gas engine technology, have entered into an agreement to jointly develop hand-held lawn and garden appliances, such as gas trimmers, blowers and blower vacs. Toro said the products will be marketed through its distribution network under the Toro and Lawn-Boy brand names.
 "The combined strengths of Toro and Ryobi Outdoor Products will provide a significant competitive advantage in the growing market for environmentally friendly lawn care products," said Toro Vice President of Consumer Marketing and Sales Rich Mueller. This action is in line with Toro's strategy to meet consumers' requirements with quality products under both the Toro and Lawn-Boy brand names," he said.
