LANCASTER -- The Lancaster Elks Lodge's float won the Sweepstakes Award in the Aug. 26 Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

The Antelope Valley
 Fair Parade, which featured 71 other entries.

The Red Hot Red Hatters marched away with the Theme Award, while the Queen Trophy went to the Junior Miss Antelope Valley Queens float.

The President Trophy was awarded to the Filipino America Association of the Antelope Valley float, and the Judges' Trophy went to the Little Miss Community Queens 2006.

Other awards included:

Antique auto -- Lazy T Ranch, first; singer Tony Molina, second; Antelope Valley Bank, third. Antique auto group -- Antique Automobiles of America, first.

Decorated auto -- L&L Hawaiian Barbeque, first; Child Care Resource Center, second; T. Bascos Placement Services, third. Decorated auto group -- Phun Time Cruisers, first.

Specialized auto -- Antelope Valley Medical College, first. Specialized auto group -- American Legion American Legion, national association of male and female war veterans, founded (1919) in Paris. Membership is open to veterans of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.  Riders, first.
