TODHUNTER INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

 WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Todhunter International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TODH) announced the resignation of Peter D. Kuc as an officer and director of the company. Kuc has decided to pursue other interests.
 Todhunter also announced that effective Jan. 2, 1993, Arnold R. Beinstein was appointed vice chairman of the board. Beinstein previously served as chief operating officer, executive vice president and a director of the company. As vice chairman, Beinstein will continue to be actively involved in the management of the company's major sales accounts and general supervision of its operations.
 Replacing Beinstein as chief operating officer is Dennis C. Mitchell who joined the company in 1984 as manager of the Lake Alfred bottling operation. In 1989 Mitchell was promoted to vice president-Sales and in 1991 was elected a director of the company. Prior to joining the company, Mitchell was general manager of bottling operations for United States Distilled Products from 1980 to 1984, and vice president- operations for Mar-Salle Chicago Company from 1976-1980, both beverage alcohol manufacturers located in the Midwest.
 The company further announced that Troy Edwards who has served as treasurer, controller and assistant secretary of the company since 1980 has been given the additional position of chief financial officer. Prior to 1980, Edwards for several years was vice president of administrative and financial services for New South Manufacturing Company, a private label industrial chemical products concern and prior to that was an accountant for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
