Keep an eye on: UCLA's running game - QB Drew Olson said the strength of the Sooners' defense is the secondary, which will put a premium on the running game. The Bruins are 110th in the nation at 74 yards rushing a game and are trying to settle on either Manuel White or Tyler Ebell as their main runner. Dropped passes - The Bruins were an embarrassment trying to catch the ball last week, and a speedy OU defense will give little time for them to be open. Whether the Bruins defense is on the field too long and wears down - Forecasts are for heat and humidity, and the Bruins already allowed one fourth-quarter lead to evaporate and needed a last-second missed field goal to preserve the win against Illinois.

Oklahoma update: QB Jason White has returned from two knee injuries to direct an underrated offense. White has completed 64.5 percent of his passes for nine TDs and has thrown one interception. WR Brandon Jones is his favorite target with 24 catches, and WR Mark Clayton has big-play ability, averaging 17.8 yards on 10 catches. The defense is the probably the best in the country even without Mitchell. OU has allowed three points in the first half and limited opponents to 241 yards a game. DE Dan Cody has a team-leading four sacks and the defense has four interceptions.
