He has a career-long field goal of 48 yards. USC cornerback William Buchanon. Another player getting his first start, Buchanon beat out freshman Justin Wyatt in practice after playing two quarters against Kansas State. USC wide receiver Kareem Kelly. The senior has not been a crucial part of the offense and fumbled twice in the first three games, but with the receiving corps shorthanded, he should get more opportunities. USC tailback Justin Fargas. He should get the most carries of his career today.

Oregon State update: Quarterback Derek Anderson has thrown 15 touchdown passes and just one interception in four games. He is No. 2 in the nation in passing efficiency.
