 RTA SEEKING ADVERTISING PROPOSALS
 CLEVELAND, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is seeking proposals from advertising agencies for advertising, marketing and promotional services.
 Scope of service expected from the advertising agency is as follows:
 -- Develop an annual Action Plan for GCRTA that outlines the suggested marketing, advertising and promotional programs for the year.
 -- Design and develop effective graphics, advertising copy and broadcast scripts. Maintain uniform graphics standards for printed materials.
 -- Recommend the most appropriate and effective media mix.
 -- Purchase media in the most cost effective manner.
 -- Develop creative new avenues to communicate with existing and potential consumers.
 -- Purchase goods and services in the most cost effective manner.
 -- Develop and implement creative, effective promotional events.
 -- Undertake special projects on an as-needed basis when so directed by the Director of Marketing.
 -- Must be able to respond in a timely manner, when the need arises, to the immediate concerns of the Authority. This may mean meeting critical deadlines on short notice.
 Proposals must be received up to but no later than 4 p.m. Jan. 10. Hand-delivered proposals shall be deposited with the receptionist at the GCRTA's Procurement Department, 10th Floor, State Office Building, 615 Superior Ave., N.W., Cleveland, Ohio, 44113.
