TLC Vision Corporation (NASDAQ:TLCV) (TSX:TLC) wishes to congratulate W. David Sullins Jr., O.D., D.O.S. for his induction into the National Optometry Hall of Fame and Richard L. Lindstrom, M.D. for his receipt of the ISRS Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Drs. Sullins and Lindstrom are both members of TLC Vision's Board of Directors and also serve on the Company's Clinical Advisory Group.

The National Optometry Hall of Fame recognizes those whose lifetime achievements have advanced the profession of optometry. The ISRS Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a member of the association who has made significant and internationally recognized contributions to the advancement of refractive surgery over his or her career.

Dr. Sullins joined the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant during the Vietnam War. His Navy career included many significant commands and staff assignments, which led to his selection as the first optometrist to reach the rank of Rear Admiral. He has been the President and Chief of Clinical Services of Athens Eye Care Clinic, P.C. since 1991. Dr. Sullins is a founding member and distinguished practitioner of National Academies of Practice, a Fellow and former member of the Admissions Committee of the American Academy of Optometry, a Fellow and Admissions Chair of the Tennessee Academy of Optometry, Adjunct Professor at the Southern College of Optometry, member Council on Optometric Education, and Past President and former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American Optometric Association. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Optometry. Dr. Sullins has been a director of TLC Vision since June 1995.

Dr. Lindstrom is a board certified ophthalmologist and a recognized leader in corneal, cataract, refractive and laser surgery. After serving as Professor of Ophthalmology and holding the Harold G. Scheie Research Chair at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Lindstrom entered private practice in 1990. He is the managing partner in Minnesota Eye Consultants and an attending surgeon at the Phillips Eye Institute and Minnesota Eye Laser and Surgery Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Lindstrom holds 26 patents in ophthalmology and has presented over 15 named lectures. His previous honors include the ISRS Barraquer and Lans Lecture Awards and the Eye Bank Association of America Paton and NACT awards. Dr. Lindstrom is a past President of the ISRS and currently serves as President of the International Intraocular Implant Society ("IIC") and the International Refractive Surgery Club ("ISRC"), two prestigious organizations representing leading cataract and refractive surgeons worldwide. He serves as Chief Medical Editor of Ocular Surgery News, the voice of 65,000 ophthalmologists around the globe. Dr. Lindstrom became a Director of Laser Vision Centers Inc. in 1995 and of TLC Vision in 2002.
