Tiger Has 43 Wins Since LASIK LASIK laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis.

Green jackets are not considered wise fashion statements. That is, unless you're from Augusta, Georgia, where Tiger Woods picked up the fourth green jacket of his career. It was Tiger's 43rd PGA Tour win since undergoing LASIK surgery at TLC Laser Eye Centers, a subsidiary of TLCVision and the largest provider of laser vision correction in North America. Like many others seeking help with their vision, Tiger did not make his decision lightly.

"For my game, improving my vision was just as important as improving my swing. I was sick and tired of wearing contacts and having to deal with playing golf with the wind blowing and all the pollen and dust," a grateful Woods explains. His search led him to TLC as did others. Hundreds of golf professionals, including teaching professionals, PGA (1) (Professional Graphics Adapter) An early IBM PC display standard for 3D processing with 640x480x256 resolution. It was not widely used.

players, have chosen TLC for their laser vision correction.

"As a professional golfer my eye sight was just too important to risk," says Woods. "My vision is fantastic. After five years I'm still seeing 20/20 and I haven't needed any enhancement or retreatment procedures."

Tiger Woods has had an unprecedented career, winning some of golf's most prized majors. He has won 58 tournaments, 43 of those on the PGA TOUR, including four Masters Tournaments, two PGA Championships, two U.S. Open Championships, and the 2000 British Open Championship. He is the career victories leader among active players on the PGA TOUR and is the career money list leader.

Recent advances in technology have made LASIK more precise and better than ever. Now, today's golfers can take advantage of CustomLASIK the advanced procedure that uses the wavefront Noun 1. wavefront - (physics) an imaginary surface joining all points in space that are reached at the same instant by a wave propagating through a medium
wave front
analyzer to measure the way light passes through your eye. CustomLASIK is able to address and correct "higher-order" aberrations, which are distortions thought to cause problems such as halos or glare. TLC Laser Eye Centers provides LASIK and CustomLASIK laser vision correction procedures using the latest approved technologies in an effort to provide crisp, clear vision. What the procedure won't provide is a better golf swing or major golf championships.

If improving your vision seems like something you may be interested in, take Tiger's advice. "If you're considering LASIK, do your homework. Look for a surgeon with proven experience and a laser center that answers all of your questions and stands behind their results. When I decided to have LASIK, I looked to the doctors at TLC Laser Eye Centers."
