TITAN TRIO WILL PERFORM FREE CONCERT AT CALARTS.Byline: Daily News CalArts Music faculty clarinetist William Powell, along with guest violinist Ernest Salem and pianist Cynthia Williams, will present a free concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the campus' Roy O. Disney Roy Oliver Disney (June 24, 1893–December 20, 1971, aged 78) was, with his younger brother Walt Disney, co-founder of what is now The Walt Disney Company. The musicians, knows as the Titan Trio, will perform recent works, including Paul Chihara's ``Shogun Trio,'' Carolyn Bremu's ``The Faster Theory'' and Katherine Hoover's ``Images.'' They also will present the premiere of Jane Brockman's ``NIBURY.'' Powell received the Artists Diploma from the Julliard School and a master of fine arts Noun 1. He also has performed with the Aspen Festival and Chamber Orchestra, the Naumburg Award-winning Aulos Wind Quintet and, as principal clarinetist, with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra San Diego Chamber Orchestra The San Diego Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1984, is the premiere professional chamber orchestra of San Diego County.
