TITAN AWARDED DEPARTMENT OF LABOR MASTER AGREEMENT HAVING A POTENTIAL VALUE OF $14 MILLION.

: TTN) has been awarded a one-year GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services. Its goal is to promote GSM as the worldwide mobile communications standard. See GSM Association and GSM.  Master Agreement by the Department of Labor (DOL DOL - Display Oriented Language. Subsystem of DOCUS. Sammet 1969, p.678. ) to provide all DOL organizations a broad range of IT services. The agreement has a ceiling of $14 million with specific task orders being awarded to Titan Systems during the ordering period. DOL's Bureau of Labor Statistics Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)

A research agency of the U.S. Department of Labor; it compiles statistics on hours of work, average hourly earnings, employment and unemployment, consumer prices and many other variables.
 (BLS) is already placing purchase orders against the agreement for regional support.

Key BLS purchase order requirements include data collection; electronic data interchange See EDI.

(application, communications) electronic data interchange - (EDI) The exchange of standardised document forms between computer systems for business use. EDI is part of electronic commerce.
 analysis and software development; solicitation of survey participants and help desk management -- all in support of various surveys conducted by the Bureau. These surveys provide critical economic information to public and private sectors.
