Hugo Boss kicked off Fashion Week with a show of its younger, hipper Hugo line at the Beverly Hills Hotel The Beverly Hills Hotel is a hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, at 9641 Sunset Boulevard. It was opened on May 12, 1912 and started by Margaret J. Anderson and her son, Stanley S. Anderson, who had been managing the Hollywood Hotel. on Tuesday. The hotel pool was covered with a cross-shaped runway. Loungers, chairs and sofas dotted the patio, lit with colorful lanterns; perfect for watching the Hugo men's and women's fall collections. Remember the '80s? You will. The Hugo show opened to Prince's spoken-word intro to ``Let's Go Crazy:'' ``Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today ... '' Everything was retro '80s: cropped jackets, colored leather jackets, shearling shear·ling n. 1. A year-old sheep that has been sheared once. 2. Everyone trudged home except for VIPs, who hit the Hugo hotel suite for an early breakfast of hash browns, pancakes, eggs and coffee. Kinda like a Hugo International House of Pancakes.
