From Monday through Feb. 28, Cavalli will donate a portion of sales to Nancy Davis' Race to Erase MS Foundation. Davis, not exactly Cavalli's target market, wore a colorful Cavalli silk blouse and raved: ``Roberto designs for hot, young, sexy adorable people. He's got a strong sense of color not of the white race; - commonly meaning, esp. in the United States, of negro blood, pure or mixed.

You can say that again. At the party, Carmen Electra came stuffed into a slinky slink·y

Cindy Crawford still looked like a supermodel in a floral Cavalli frock, talking up Meaningful Beauty, her new skin-care line. Kimberly Stewart, with mom Alana and Alana's former husband George Hamilton, made it a real family affair. Jack Nicholson and James Caan were in the house. Somewhere. Fran Drescher carried a brown Pomeranian. Or was it a wolverine wolverine or glutton, largest member of the weasel family, Gulo gulo, found in the northern parts of North America and Eurasia, usually in high mountains near the timberline or in tundra. ?

Jason Davis brought ``pal'' Courtney Peldon. Brandon Davis came with steady Mischa Barton, just back from England, where the London-born ``O.C.'' star presented the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Orange Film of the Year award to ``Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.''

Special Bonding Moment: Newly engaged Christina Aguilera and ``Simple Life'' star Nicole Richie comparing rings. Richie looked scarily skinny in a brown Cavalli halter halter

HOW COOL IS HE?: The ``Be Cool'' stars were definitely chillin' at the Monday premiere at the Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

Grammy winner Usher planted a big fat kiss on ``Fat Actress'' Kirstie Alley. ``It's the high point of my life!'' Alley exclaimed afterward.

Stars Vince Vaughn and Harvey Keitel stayed cool at the Palladium after- party, where a pool table was stamped with the admonition Any formal verbal statement made during a trial by a judge to advise and caution the jury on their duty as jurors, on the admissibility or nonadmissibility of evidence, or on the purpose for which any evidence admitted may be considered by them.  ``BE COOL.'' , Steven Tyler and Dwayne ``The Rock'' Johnson did the requisite premiere handshakes and back-slaps. Christina Milian celebrated with her proud mom and two sisters while a still-skinny Anna Nicole Smith, in a red-hot gown, posed like a playmate on a nearby couch.

So what IS cool?, we wondered. Johnson, who plays a wannabe actor- bodyguard, has an odd take: ``Cool is to be fearless and jump off the cliff and see what happens.'' We presume he's speaking metaphorically.

Debi Mazar was more practical: ``If you're working in Hollywood and have a life outside the biz, you're cool.'' Keitel waxed philosophical: ``Cool is something you know when you see it. And if you don't, then you're not cool.'' Huh?

But all agreed Travolta was the King of Cool. ``He's a superstar and doesn't act like it,'' said director F. Gary Gray. ``He's always so calm and sincere,'' added co-star Kimberly Brown.

When Travolta was told, he didn't even blush. ``I just can't deny those words,'' he said, sounding just like his Chili Palmer character. Now that's hot.
