DIAMOND VISION: ``In America'' sister stars Emma and Sarah Bolger played dress up, trying on armloads and neckloads of diamonds at Monday night's Kwiat Diamonds Oscar Suite cocktail party and diamond-admiring event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The girls even sang ``Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend.''

The Bolgers were surrounded by leading Hollywood actresses Marcia Gay Harden, Sharon Stone and Doris Roberts. Asked how she feels about her newfound fame, Emma said, sounding ever so slightly rehearsed, ``America has been very good to me.''

Thirteen-year-old best actress nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes told Stone that she wasn't really nervous about the Oscars and hasn't prepared a speech. ``I'm just going to have a really good time,'' she said wisely. Stone greeted mother-of-twins-to-be Harden by rubbing her belly. Castle- Hughes and Emma Bolger engaged in some girly talk - discussing school and their wild experiences as the youngest stars in Hollywood.

Everyone admired the new trends in diamonds (right-hand rings, stiletto earrings and deco-inspired stackable bracelets) and the Diamond Diva portraits of famous actresses such as Marlene Dietrich.

The lucky Oscar-winning best actress this year will receive a special gift portrait done up in Kwiat diamonds to cement her place as the next-generation Diamond Diva.

DOWN AND 'DIRTY': Who can forget the classic phrase ``Nobody puts Baby in the corner,'' uttered by that dancing dude Patrick Swayze in the original ``Dirty Dancing''?

Swayze was back in the limelight at the premiere of ``Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights'' Tuesday night at the ArcLight Theatre in Hollywood. Swayze has a brief cameo in the new film, but oddly, Jennifer Grey was not asked to do one. Maybe that's because it might be hard to explain the new nose.

The ``Havana Nights'' gals were turning heads on the carpet with elegant Sela Ward wearing a black Versace pants suit, Mya clad in a red Amanda Wakely gown, and January Jones (sans her tenor-belting beau Josh Groban) in a '50s-style Chanel knee-length dress with matching plaid jacket.

Swayze seemed thrilled to be back in the limelight along with wife Lisa Niemi. But no one could resist the charm of young Mexican actor Diego Luna (``Y Tu Mama Tambien''), who has his first English-speaking lead role in ``Havana Nights.''

``I come from a country where we only make 10 to 20 movies a year, so to be a part of something like this is incredible,'' said Luna, mentioning that he had six childhood friends with him who would bring him back to reality if he started to get a big head from all the screaming fans.

Also on the carpet: Arianna Huffington, Michael Welch, John Slattery, the film's director Guy Ferland, and its producer/choreographer JoAnn Jansen. She trained the nondancing Luna to step like a salsa king in 10 weeks.
