TINSELTOWN SPYWITNESS.

COMEDY FOR A CAUSE: Whoopi Goldberg may have canceled at the last minute, but that didn't stop everyone from laughing at Thursday night's 16th "Cool Comedy - Hot Cuisine" party to benefit the Scleroderma Research Foundation The Scleroderma Research Foundation ("SRF") is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to find improved therapies and a cure for scleroderma by funding research and Scleroderma Centers of Excellence, which provide multi-specialty clinical care in dedicated facilities , sponsored by Actelion Pharmaceuticals. That's because some very funny people showed up anyway, including Ray Romano, whose stand-up routine brought down the packed house in the Regent Beverly Wilshire ballroom.

Saget's "Full House" co-star John Stamos joined him to run a lucrative live auction. "Too Hot Tamales" chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken (of Border Grill fame) supplied delicious hot cuisine - everything from ceviche ce·vi·che or se·vi·che

Marilu Henner celebrated her birthday at the gala, Dana Delany and Linda Gray prettied up the proceedings, and the funny crowd came out in force. We spotted Dom DeLuise, Jonathan Silverman, Ruth Buzzi and Richard Benjamin laughing in the audience, while funnyman fun·ny·man

And who needs Whoopi, anyway? The night raised more than $700,000 to help Saget and friends reach their goal - "to help the Scleroderma Research Foundation go out of business, by finding a cure."

And that's just what Lohan did on Wednesday night at Sienna, the new shop at 8908 Melrose in West Hollywood, owned by Jennifer Mastracco and Carter Hancock.

Hancock, a North Carolina native, and Mastracco (from Atlanta) also know what female Angelenos want for the spring.

"When we came to L.A. from New York, we felt that there was a need and a niche for a dressier boutique, with a little more classy feel," said Mastracco. "We have a lot of beautiful lines, including Jill Stuart, Theory and Tibi." They dressed Ginnifer Goodwin, their hostess of the night, in a pretty black-and-white Tibi dress. "I just fell in love with it," said Goodwin, whose HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)

Hancock and Mastracco attracted tons of the stylish Hollywood set to Sienna, including a blond and bearded Topher Grace, Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Capshaw, MTV's Ryan Devlin and comedian Whitney Cummings.

AN `INCH' OF RAIN: Dire ``Storm Watch!'' warnings translation: a little rain) didn't stop Hollywood's glam-and-glitter crowd from turning out in force Monday night for the premiere of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," John Cameron Mitchell's campy musical that arrived at the Roxy for a four-week run.

Sponsored by Smashbox Cosmetics, who also provided the show's glamorous and eye-popping makeup, the he "anatomically incorrect rock odyssey," appropriately presented in the official "uncut" version, stars Donovan Leitch as Hedwig, the alter ego of the lonely East Berlin boy named Hansel han·sel

who undergoes a sex-change operation after falling in love with an American GI, and Bijou Phillips as Yitzak, Hedwig's backup singer and whipping boy.

Backed up by a polished and kick-ass four-piece band, Leitch, who also co-produced the show, delivered a performance that was by turns energetic, entertaining and touching as he prowled and pranced across the stage in front of a packed house of hard-core and noisy "Hedwig" fans and celebs that included Paris and Nicky Hilton, Scott Weiland, Kelly Lynch, Juliette Lewis, Mark McGrath, Milla Jovovich, Dylan McDermott and wife Shiva Rose, Taryn Manning and Britt Ekland.

But if the glamour quotient in the audience was sky-high, it wasn't just because of the Hilton girls and other celebs at the after-show bash. Thanks to Smashbox Cosmetics, who transformed the Roxy lobby into a makeup studio complete with staff, before the show every audience member was treated to a choice of outrageous false eyelashes - some consisting of 4-inch feathers - and a glitter makeup job as well.
