Mandy Moore wants you to imagine a better world and buy her pricey new ``Imagine'' T-shirt. Imagine that!

Moore, currently starring (as herself) in HBO's ``Entourage,'' showed up at Fred Segal in Santa Monica Monday to launch her limited-edition ``Imagine'' T in her Mblem clothing line.

The shirt, which costs (gulp) $62, bears the lyrics from John Lennon's ``Imagine'' and promotes Amnesty International's ``Imagine'' campaign, a global initiative for human rights. The rights to the lyrics were granted by Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, and a reported ``significant'' amount of the money funds AI global work.

``Given this great opportunity to reach out to people, I'd be remiss if I didn't lend a hand,'' proclaimed Moore, in an Mblem teal T and lace doily wrap. ``I'm so lucky to be able to join people working hard for something so universal.''

Frankly, she's lucky to have time to design clothes, given her packed schedule. She just finished ``Romance & Cigarettes,'' a romantic comedy with James Gandolfini and Kate Winslet, and is filming the political satire ``American Dreamz,'' with Hugh Grant and Chris Klein, followed by ``Safety Glass'' with Amber Tamblyn this fall.

But don't expect to see Moore act in Mblem. ``I was going to sneak it on to 'Entourage,' but I thought it wouldn't be appropriate,'' she confessed. ``Maybe a little cheesy? But maybe one day.''

Moore's real romantic life is tres hush-hush. But rumor is she might appear on on-again/off-again beau Zach Braff's sitcom ``Scrubs'' this fall. The lovebirds reportedly broke up this summer but were seen snuggling in late July at the 30th anniversary of their upstate New York acting summer school Stagedoor Manor.

Gosh, no wonder Moore is so pitch-perfect in ``Entourage'' as a hot young actress whose love life merges with her work. Hey, it's an occupational hazard for these gals. Just ask Angelina Jolie.

MODELS TO THE MAX: Snaking through massive crimson velvet curtains, only to encounter a half-naked man lolling on a couch with a BCBG-clad model draped across his bare chest, it's pretty obvious that this wasn't your typical cocktail party. Add in Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sharon Stone gleefully hugging diminutive designer Max Azria, and Nicole Richie checking out ``CSI'' hunk Gary Dourdan's broad chest, and there's no doubt this was a special Thursday night on Rodeo Drive.

Getting a crowd to form at the launch of his BCBG Max Azria Flagship Boutique came easily for the longtime designer (who already has shops all over the Southland and beyond), since women love his flattering looks. ``I'm very proud of being here on Rodeo Drive,'' the French-born couturier gushed. ``It's the best street in the world!''

Paula Abdul checked out the racks of evening gowns, while singer Josh Groban glanced away from girlfriend January Jones to scope out the numerous live models strategically draped around the spacious store.

Also spotted in the crush were BCBG fans Tracee Ellis Ross, Melissa George, Laura Harring and Marla Sokoloff, The night benefited the Friends of the Breast Program at UCLA.
