``I've never seen a time capsule dug up, and I've never seen what they look like after they're dug up. That's why I was digging so vigorously,'' Thomas said. ``But to no avail.'' The time capsule is purported to be a three-foot length of plastic pipe, possibly holding sheet music and a red-white and blue tassel with a minuteman commemorating the nation's bicentennial bi·cen·ten·ni·al adj. 1.
