THRILLS OF CAMPING VALLEY KIDS GET TO SLEEP UNDER THE STARS.

The children, with assistance from their counselors, pitched their own tents in the park, located in Canoga Park, prior to an introductory program at which L.A. Councilman Dennis Zine spoke.

Dressed in a flannel flannel, large group of napped plain-weave or twill-weave fabrics made of cotton, wool, or man-made fibers. Flannel fabrics vary in closeness or firmness of weave and in degree of napping.  shirt and jeans, Zine told the children to encourage good maintenance of local parks, particularly if their peers or others want to vandalize property. "Let people know that it's your park and you want to keep it the way it is," he said.

It was the first time camping for Juan Hernandez, 10, of Canoga Park. One of the activities he was looking forward to was climbing the rock wall that was placed in the middle of the park.

Jonathan Ramirez- was born on September 26, 1988 in Jamaica, Queens in New York City to the parents, Maria R. Hernandez and Luis A. Ramirez. Both Parents are from Colombia and came to the U.S in 1986.
, 11, of Canoga Park said he looked forward to cooking his own food. "We get to do everything the old-fashioned way," he said, adding the camping experience also let him make new friends.

WOW has been in existence for 11 years, bringing outdoor experiences to thousands of children.
