In addition, THQ Wireless announced its first Premium SMS campaign through MINICK USA with the National Football League (NFL) for the Pro Bowl, where, for the first time, fans can vote for their favorite football players via their wireless devices across multiple carriers.

Starting this week, fans can cast their Pro Bowl ballot and vote for their favorite quarterback, tight end, wide receiver, running back and kicker by sending an SMS with the text "NFL VOTE" to the number 69847. For most carriers, completed ballots are packaged with an exclusive NFL Shield wallpaper.

"MINICK's technology has provided the backbone for some of Europe's most innovative mobile applications and premium messaging campaigns," said Michael Steuer, general manager of MINICK USA. "Working with the NFL to offer the Pro Bowl mobile balloting campaign is just the beginning of how our technologies and wireless services will be at the forefront of next-generation mobile entertainment applications in the U.S."

"The NFL is proud to partner up with THQ Wireless for this first-ever wireless Pro Bowl balloting campaign across multiple carriers," said Evan Kamer, senior director, new media for the NFL. "By being able to cast votes for their favorite players from their mobile devices, fans can truly get in on the action from anywhere and at anytime."
