In related news, THQ said it has signed a deal with MTV MTV in full Music Television U.S. cable television network, established in 1980 to present videos of musicians and singers performing new rock music. MTV won a wide following among rock-music fans worldwide and greatly affected the popular-music business. to develop and publish MTV Sports video games. The four-year contract gives THQ rights to the MTV property for all current and future game platforms from Sony, Nintendo and Sega, and for personal computers. The first games are due out this winter. THQ also said it signed an agreement with the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association to publish and distribute rodeo games for the PlayStation and PCs worldwide.
