It is the time of Harvest Festival harvest festival Noun 1. a Christian church service held every year to thank God for the harvest 2. any of various ceremonies celebrating the harvest in other religions - a joyful thanksgiving to God the Creator. The harvest results because seeds have grown into plants of the same kind. The same principle applies to our spiritual sowing and harvest. Galatians 6 both warns and guides us: "Do not deceive TO DECEIVE. To induce another either by words or actions, to take that for true which is not so. Wolff, Inst. Nat. Sec. 356. yourselves' no-one can make a fool of God. A person will reap exactly what he sows. If he sows in the field of his natural desires, from it he will gather the harvest of death' if he sows in the field of the Spirit, from the Spirit he will gather the harvest of eternal life." |
