THOMSON CORP. SELLS JANE'S INFO. TO THOMSON FAMILY HOLDING COMPANY.The Thomson Corp. (Toronto, ON) has sold Jane's Information Group (London) to a unit of the Woodbridge Co. Ltd. (Toronto, ON), the holding company of the Thomson family, for $110 million. A division of Thomson's reference unit and Thomson Corp. Publishing International, Jane's specializes in the collection, analysis, evaluation and distribution of information for the global defense, transport and law enforcement industries.
