The Quartz quartz, one of the commonest of all rock-forming minerals and one of the most important constituents of the earth's crust. Chemically, it is silicon dioxide, SiO2.  Hill boys' basketball team defeated Franklin 61-58 to finish third in the Falcon Classic last week. With the game winding down, point guard Scott Lankford made two free throws to seal the victory.
