Thanks to a little luck of the Irish, this pie is quick and easy to make. Simply combine the ingredients in one bowl, pour into a graham cracker crust and bake. Now, you'll have more time to create a little St. Patrick's cheer, by decorating this delicious pie with whipped cream, green sprinkles and chocolate curls.

SHAMROCK CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE PIE

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract Peppermint extract is an herbal extract of peppermint (Mentha x piperita) made from the essential oils of peppermint leaves. It is commonly used in cooking, as a dietary supplement, and as an herbal or alternative medicine.  (optional)

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder Noun 1. cocoa powder - the powdery remains of chocolate liquor after cocoa butter is removed; used in baking and in low fat and low calorie recipes and as a flavoring for ice cream
chocolate - a food made from roasted ground cacao beans
 

2 eggs

1/2 cup whipping cream Noun 1. whipping cream - cream that has enough butterfat (30% to 36%) to be whipped
light whipping cream

cream - the part of milk containing the butterfat
 

1 package crumb crust (6 ounces) OR homemade 9-inch graham cracker crumb crust

Whipped topping Whipped topping is a non dairy product made to resemble the taste, texture, and look of whipped cream. Whipped Topping normally contains some mixture of partially hydrogenated oil, sweeteners, and other ingredients.  

Chocolate curls and green sprinkles (optional)

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and peppermint extract until well blended. Add cocoa; beat until well blended, scraping sides of bowl and beaters frequently. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in whipping cream.

Pour into crust.

Bake in preheated 350-degree oven 35 to 40 minutes. (Center will be soft but will set upon cooling.)

Cool to room temperature. Cover; refrigerate re·frig·er·ate

Garnish with whipped topping, chocolate curls. Cover; refrigerate leftover pie. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
