(NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange : HQ) today reported a 32 percent increase in earnings per share for the third quarter ended September September: see month. 30, 1994, to $.45 per share up from $.34 per share in the comparable year earlier period. Net income for the three months ended September 30, 1994 rose 34 percent to $22,415,000, compared with $16,762,000 in the third quarter of 1993. In 1994's third quarter, revenues climbed 19 percent, to $580,837,000, up from $488,373,000 in the three months ended September 30, 1993. The revenue increase was fueled by a 15 percent enrollment increase in the company's health plans, to 1,439,013 at September 30, 1994, compared with 1,256,219 at the end of the same period a year ago.
