The group started out as a garage band in 1965, and over the years some of the players have changed. While never gaining large-scale success, many of the band's members went on to mainstream success with other outfits. . Concert-goers are invited to sing along to well-known hits of the Beach Boys such as ``Barbara Ann'' and ``Be True to Your School,'' rock classics like ``Born to be Wild'' and the band's original hits. ``They do a great job of re-creating the Beach Boys sounds. They have the harmonies and musical styling down, so it should be a great day in the park,'' said Phil Lantis, concert coordinator. ``Papa'' has released three albums and earned two gold records and a Grammy nomination over the years.
